Since this is a new blog and I’m all about transparency, I would like to talk about what I’d like to do here.
These are my intentions and ideas for this blog:
- Profile Mushroom People – The Mycology community are a very cool bunch of folks – You might say they are down to earth, and you would be right. You might say they are far out, and again you would be right.
- Collect and report of cool mushroom links
- Share mushroom recipes
- Share how to grow mushrooms – My brother and his family are Mushroom farmers in Northern California – The Mushroom Maestros. I’m hoping to get them to show me how to grow mushrooms in my garden. Also, there is a course at the community college this spring about growing Mushrooms.
- Highlight the nutritional benefits of mushrooms
- Profile all the different types of Mushrooms
- Explore the ways Mushroom and Mycology can save the world
- How Mushrooms fit into a permculture gardening and farming
- Share Mushroom Photos and Art
I hope to post a few times a month. I hope to really write and not judge my writing. No one will die if I don’t use proper grammar or make a few spelling mistakes. I will probably learn about WordPress and Blogging. I hope to meet folks and engage with people – That’s always a highlight of my day.
