Who loves Mushrooms? Everybody.
Case in point, Web Designers. These happy people understand beauty. Form and Function are the tools of their trade. They work very hard with little recognition – just like mushrooms!
I happen to think the Theme of this site: Liquorice by Sonia at Nudge Designs – is one of the best wordpress themes around. Certainly the best FREE WordPress theme that I’ve ever seen. The colors are pleasing. The text is readable and classy. And the graphics are understated and beautiful.
Does the background on the header of this blog look like a spore print to you? It does to me. Beauty inspired by nature – the natural mushroom way.
Mushroom Website Inspiration
Looking for a new theme the other day, I went to Nudge Design’s website. Imagine my surprise when I saw a little group of mushrooms sprouting up from the footer. Check it out!

Well, I had to write. It turns out that Sonia loves mushrooms. Here’s a direct quote: “Yes, I do love mushrooms”. You have to love the internet – we are all connected. Perhaps we can talk with Sonia more about her design inspiration and her excellent success with WordPress Themes. The Liquorice theme has been downloaded more than… 120, ooo TIMES! That’s wonderful.
